Preston/Hornbuckle Fine Art will be presenting William Preston's significant bodies of original oils, sumi-e, and sketches.

William Preston came to be considered a master sumi painter, nationally as well as locally. He brought the sumi painting technique and his mastery of the brush to his 15 year oil painter's experience with the Southwest landscape, and its flora and fauna.

William Preston painted masterful oils of the Southwest, and Virginia's Shenandoah, exhibiting them in this region and Washington DC. Considered a "painter's painter", he worked in oil from the mid-80's to the late 90's. These finished works that remain of that prolific body of work will be available at the 2018 tour.

Marianne and Bill were the founders of the Pojoaque River Art Tour, now celebrating its 26th anniversary!
