My work with concrete and recycled glass arose from the realization that glass is difficult to recycle from remote locations. At the time I began, I was living in Carlsbad, New Mexico where glass recycling was unavailable. Although I now live in an area where it's possible to recycle glass in ways besides making art from it, I still enjoy incorporating recycled elements into my work.

My jewelry work incorporates beads and elements found in various places including thrift stores and garage sales. I love to find old necklaces which have fallen apart and make them into something new. I find myself unable to commit fully to a single medium, so I enjoy being creative in lots of eclectic ways.
