September 14-15, 2019 - 10am-5pm
Please join us for the 26th Annual Pojoaque River Art Tour and discover the wealth of creative talent of the three cultures of the beautiful Pojoaque River Valley.
Visitors will enjoy a wide variety of quality art and craft by Native American, Hispanic, and Anglo artists along the tour route, which can be navigated in a single day.
This year, we’re expanding to collaborate with Los Maestros, and the Santa Fe Thunder Half Marathon and their featured Pueblo artists and international indigenous artisans at the Poeh Center!
On Saturday, the Pojoaque River Art Tour and Los Maestros, a Chimayo-based young artists group, will host an immersive art experience for visitors. Try your hand at retablo painting or tinwork! This hands-on experience will be held outside the Poeh Cultural Center.
Also on Saturday, the Poeh Center and Pueblo of Pojoaque will host the Global Running & Art Festival from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Held in conjunction with the 9th running of the Santa Fe Thunder Half Marathon and Lightning 5K, and the Pojoaque River Art Tour, the Festival will bring to life the theme of this year’s Race… Running Is Art! Visit www.SantaFeThunder.com for more information.
Silent Auction winners will be announced Sunday evening at the Wrap Party, which is also being held at Rancho Jacona, between 5:30 pm and 8:30 pm. All are invited, so please join us!
