April Jouse, currently residing in Pojoaque, New Mexico, received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber and Material Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her love of process-oriented art took her to the Anchor Graphics Press to study lithography, and since moving to New Mexico in 2013, April’s focus has been on sewing machine drawings, weaving, embroidery, ink drawing, and lithography.

In all forms, her work primarily draws from on the lunacies of love, the shape of nostalgia and innovation of growth.
