Diverse work representing three cultures distinguishes the outstanding art of the 22nd Annual POJOAQUE RIVER ART TOUR. Bike or GPS your way in a day, from Pojoaque Pueblo, through Nambe and Pojoaque, to San Ildefonso Pueblo, starting just 15
minutes north of Santa Fe. On Friday, September 18, 5-7pm, the Artists' Reception, hosted by Than Povi Fine Art Gallery (Exit 176 in Cuyamungue), features food and refreshment, Native Dances, a Silent Auction, and the artists themselves!

The Pojoaque River Art Tour, a uniquely Northern New Mexico tri-cultural art experience, includes sixteen stops and twenty-four artists and artisans.

The journey through Pojoaque's inspired ambience can still be navigated in a single day. As they follow the tour, art-watchers will be rewarded with a wide array of paint and print syles and media, including contemporary and traditional oil and acrylic paintings, mixed media, assemblage, monotypes, Sumi-e, watercolor, egg tempera, gouache and pastel. Artists nd artisans will also unveil original works in photography, jewelry, sculpture, ironwork, weaving and ceramics. Some will be involved in works-in-progress and provide demonstrations.

Than Povi Fine Art Gallery, the Native American art gallery adjacent to Gabriel's Restaurant in Cuyamungue (Exit 176), is the first stop for maps and hosts the Tour's Reception on Friday, September 18th from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, as well as the Silent Auction on Friday evening and all day Saturday.

Tour maps are available at Santa Fe hotels and B & B's, in Friday's (September 18th)  PASATIEMPO, on this website, or at Than Povi (Stop #1). One can also follow the yellow and black highway signs off 502 and obtain maps at artist's studios.
